Born in São Paulo, SP, 1960.

Graduated from the Law School of the University of São Paulo (USP), in 1982 and admitted to the Brazilian Bar in 1983. He worked for 2 years in the litigation area and for 2 years in the Tax Department of an international audit company in São Paulo, dealing with Brazilian taxes. He attended courses of Appeals, Theory of Process in the Specialization Course in Civil Procedure by COGEAE/PUC-SP; and Telecommunications Law and Economic Business Law and Third Sector Law, both courses at the Law School of Fundação Getúlio Vargas. He joined the firm in 1987.
