The reporting period for submitting the Quinquennial (5-year) Periodic Statement (Foreign Capital Census 2026) to the Brazilian Central Bank has initiated.
The entities required to submit the Quinquennial Statement are those that on December 31, 2025, cumulatively meet the following criteria:
- Hold total assets equal to or greater than R$ 100,000.00 (one hundred thousand reais); and
- Have non-resident investors holding any interest in their corporate capital.
The final deadline for submission of the Quinquennial Statement is March 31, 2026.
Additionally, due to the submission of the Quinquennial Statement, the Annual Statement will not be required in 2026.
Failure to submit the information within the deadline, or submission of incorrect, incomplete, omitted, or false information, may result in the imposition of fines, as established by law.
